So tired

Madison was taking a little to long in the restroom I went to check on her and found her asleep on the toilet. A friend asked if I took a picture. I admit I thought about it, but deiced her safety was more important. I put her into bed and she had a comfortable nap in her cozy bed.

Crawling!

She crawled! A girlfriend said to me Caroline is crawling now? Oh my gosh she is!!! Today was the deadline for her to be crawling or pulling herself up then we were going to see a physical therapist. Caroline most of known this because she crawled this morning! Aunt Heather caught it on video.

How does your garden grow?

Madison "I want to plant seeds and carrots."

Mom "What will the seeds grow?"

Madison "Flowers!"

Goodnight Daddy

Girls, I hope you always remember your daddy putting you to bed. When I put you to bed we read alot when daddy does it he sings alot. So many songs that sometimes he has to get a song book so he doesn't run out. The other night after putting Madison to bed he said, "While I sing she just stares into my eyes, and says just one more daddy." You girls have blessed your daddy in ways you may never realize. He LOVES you!

A bad fall

After jumping for joy at the arrival of Jenken Madison took a bad fall on Caroline's little play kitchen. Nothing that a prayer, hugs and kisses, Dora bandage, and Dora Popsicle couldn't fix. Jenken received a Popsicle at 9am also.

Caroline at 1

-You are very happy to see those you know and love. Even before you were one you gave hugs and kisses.

-You adore your sister.

-You love to eat.

-You love it when someone else is near by even if you are playing by yourself.

-You love your stuffed puppy which you call pup pup and you lamb Sweet Lola.

-You love to mimic.

-Not many people can walk by you without picking you up. You always look up with those beautiful blue eyes, sweet smile, and arms reached out.

Madison at 3

-You are very considerate. If you wake before mom and dad you leave your door open and climb back in bed until we wake and come and get you.

-Observant In the morning before you get out of your bed you look out the window to check the weather, see if there is a newspaper, and if dad is home.

-You really love your sister. You are very concerned if she is crying and insist she has one of what you have.

-You are very friendly and always make new friends.

He is back!

For the past month Jason has been remodeling a Starbucks. This means he has been working through some nights and still doing work during the day. I'm blaming my lack of blogging on this. Though I know if I really wanted to blog I could have. I just have not been on the computer much. Tonight should be the last night. Who you really are comes our during times like this. I am very proud of Jason for how he has handled the lack of sleep and stressful work. He really enjoys working for Starbucks and I think that is why he does it through the night. He still spent quality time with me and the girls.

I have also learned how to prepare to not having daddy home in the evenings. Before the remodeling started I got with my sister- her hubby also does this and we came up with some great ways to support each other. Play dates in the evenings and child swap 2 mornings a week. I really pushed myself to be the best help meet for Jason. Doing things he would normally do- like put away all his tools in the garage and throw out trash. Playing quietly or leaving the house in the morning so he could get some sleep. And many other things. We both agreed this last month was really a good one and we are thankful he does not do this year round.

Snow in Spring

April 2. Snow you can't see it in the picture, but it did snow today. Miss Matt with her merry heart no matter what the weather she wants to enjoy it. "I want to go play in the snow with my snow boots."

She is so silly- oh I mean happy that is the only word she likes to describe herself. Please don't call her funny, silly, or goofy only happy.

Is Spring Here?

April 1 beautiful weather! Is spring really here? We enjoyed many hours outside.

Egg Fun

We did color eggs last last week, but I just now am downloading pics from my camera. Uncle Ramsey thank you for the Dora coloring kit. Madison was thrilled to color the eggs and Caroline loved eating the hard boiled eggs!

We got the share the eggs with all our friends at an egg hunt our playgroup did. 12 kids enjoyed finding real eggs, eggs with candy, eggs with money, with stickers, eggs with stickers on the outside and choc. candy inside that they got to share with an adult. Jenken, KK, Rachel and myself made egg salad with the hard boiled eggs and it turned our great everyone enjoyed eating it on crackers.
Madison loved finding the eggs and playing with her friends. Caroline was her happy self entertained with all the plastic eggs.
