Ducks, Firefighters, Friends, Shots, and Nana

I'm bummed I did not have my camera for all the fun events yesterday morning, but I still want to record it. We went to one of our favorite parks before Caroline's well baby check this morning. We were feeding the ducks which the girls loved, but something else really got Madison's attention 4 firefighters practicing walking with a hose. She so wanted to go say, "hi to the firefighters." We headed toward the firetruck and I said we may just have to wave. She was determined to say hi. As we got closer the men went to the truck to began winding up the hoses. She boldly said, "Hi firefighters." They all responded and one asked if she would help him with the hose. Then another brought the girls stickers. Very nice men. We thanked them for their service and went on the the playground to meet up with Samantha, Nicole, and Matheo. The kids played and played. Sam and I caught up. Then to the dr where poor Caroline receive shots. The check up went very well up until the shots. She proudly took 4 steps to the doctor. She has been walking since last Thursday. Dr. Sharp let Madison examine Cotton Candy (C. lovey) with the stethoscope then helped her put a band aid on his paw. Very sweet! We love our pediatrician and she loves the girls. On the drive home M. said, "I want to be a firefighter, Doctor, and a race car driver." We greeted Nana at home for our usually Tueday lunch. Another fun summer day.
